Six popular macro sectors in the state of Lara (Barquisimeto) are being served by the National government, with the execution of a plan to replace sewer pipes, which have already reached their useful life.

The modernization of the wastewater infrastructure will be carried out in the La Carucieña, El Garabatal, San Francisco and Santa Isabel communities of the Guerrera Ana Soto parish (Anasoli), as well as Barrio Unión, in the homonymous parish, both corresponding to the municipality Iribarren (Barquisimeto).

This plan was conceived to replace 2.000 meters of eight and ten inch pipe, in the aforementioned urban developments that were built more than 40 years ago.

It is noteworthy that these sectors were already inspected by a delegation headed by the Minister of Water Attention, G/D Rodolfo Marcos Torres, and local authorities, after having received direct instructions from the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, who visited the entity on June 26.

Torres together with Joel Tifor, president of Lara hydrology, evaluated the collapse of a large part of the main pipeline that collects and distributes wastewater from these popular sectors.

According to local authorities, the benefit of the execution of this collector plan will impact the daily lives of approximately 30 thousand people.

The majority of the Barquisimetana population is distributed between the Unión and Ana Soto parishes, where there is also the presence of great dynamism of industrial, commercial and institutional activity.

In an attempt to improve urban mobility (pedestrian and vehicular), the National President, in his tour of the entity on the aforementioned date, also responded to the clamor of citizens regarding the deterioration of roads, for which he delegated, to the Minister of Land Transportation, Ramón Velásquez Araguayan, address such a situation.

Velásquez, fulfilling his visit to the Larense entity, began an asphalt plan in the 5 de Julio community of the Guerrera Ana Soto parish, and said that what was agreed was 11 thousand tons of asphalt, "with this we are fulfilling the pledged word of our President Nicolás Maduro,” added the minister.

In coordination with the State Executive and the Iribarren municipality (Barquisimeto), Barrio Bolívar will be served; Pila de Montezuma, main avenue Ruiz Pineda, San José, Barrio Unión, Preca, La Gallera and Andrés Eloy Blanco.
