They will rehabilitate the Camaguán-Calabozo road section in Guárico

More than 300 kilometers of roads will be recovered, as ordered by President Maduro during his recent visit

More than 300 kilometers of roads will be rehabilitated discontinuously in the Camaguán – Calabozo section, as ordered by President Nicolás Maduro, in his recent visit to the Guárico state.

This was reported through a video posted on the social networks of the Minister of Transportation, Ramón Velásquez Araguayán, after inspecting the highway this Thursday, June 13, in the company of Governor José Vásquez.

The minister explained that an immediate action plan is being carried out to quickly begin the recovery and signaling work of the aforementioned route.

He pointed out that the necessary resources have been approved by the national and regional Government, ensuring complete corrective work on the roads.

Velásquez Araguayán added that these works occur in the context of the National Plan for Comprehensive Assistance to Roads 2024, “which guarantees the connectivity and security of the plains people,” he said.

For his part, the Guariqueño president emphasized that great efforts have been made to recover the state's extra-urban road infrastructure, which is made up of more than 2 kilometers, and through which much of the country's agricultural production travels.

“The roads of Guárico are not just Guárico, they are the roads of the center of the country,” stated the governor.

The authorities also supervised the construction of Francisco de Miranda and Tricentenario avenues in Calabozo, highlighting that successful work has been carried out.
