Patients from the Roscio Nieves municipality served with ophthalmological consultations, exams, intraocular pressure measurement and other services

In the state of Guárico, more than 250 people benefited from an ophthalmology day, held at the facilities of the Rómulo Gallegos Municipal Clinical Center, located in San Juan de los Morros.

During the operation, attendees received comprehensive care that included ophthalmological consultations, visual exams, measuring intraocular pressure and ruling out glaucoma and retinopathy.

A press release from the entity's mayor's office states that this set of services allowed citizens to receive specialized, high-quality medical care, vital for the prevention and early treatment of visual diseases.

“This initiative has been led by Mayor Sulme Avila, who, through her management committed to the well-being of the community, seeks to provide quality ophthalmological care to the inhabitants of the municipality,” the text describes.

“With events like this, the Rosciana mayor's office and the Rómulo Gallegos Municipal Clinical Center reaffirm their commitment to the health of the inhabitants of the Juan Germán Roscio Nieves municipality, establishing a model of preventive and accessible medical care for all,” the information concludes.
