Museum of Fine Arts reopens its doors fully restored

In its 12 rooms the museum will offer the public a wide range of works by different artists

After a profound intervention, carried out by the Executive Vice Presidency of the Republic, the Museum of Fine Arts of Caracas opens its doors to the public, offering in its 12 rooms works of Latin American art and artists from the neoclassical period.

The Minister of Culture, Ernesto Villegas, on his X account posted a video in which he reported that the institution is now open to the public starting this Tuesday, July 2.

For his part, Professor Zacarías García, director of the museum, indicated that the cultural space will have an extensive program, which includes workshops, among other activities.

Likewise, he said that the museum has a large number of Latin American works, such as the exhibition by creators of the Bolivarian Alliance of Our America-People's Trade Treaty (Alba-TCP), titled: Alba is our America, identity and resistance.

In this regard, Villegas said that in this exhibition "you will be able to see works of great artistic value made by plastic artists from the region."

The museum's restoration lasted six months, and was carried out by experts in the area.
