Mortal Kombat 1: Ghostface, T-1000 and Conan could join the next DLC

We already have a possible first look at the next Kombatientes pack.

The next round of Mortal Kombat 1 DLC fighters appear to have leaked online via a dataminer that has had success in the past. If you ever wanted to see the T-1000 fight Conan the Barbarian, well, we have good news.

Mortal Kombat 1 is both a reboot of the franchise and also a sequel of sorts to Mortal Kombat 11. Like the later games, MK1 features a roster of characters who fight each other to the death.

And as with recent entries in the series, MK1 also includes DLC characters. The first Kombat Pack added Omni Man, Homelander and others to the fighters. But that DLC concludes next month with Takeda, so fans are already excited to see who might arrive in the next DLC pack. And a dataminer seems to have the answers.

As reported by IGN, Interloko, who previously found new content within the MK1 files, uploaded a new video detailing six new characters that could be added in the game's next Kombat Pack.

Possible Combatants

  • T-1000 (Terminator franchise)
  • Conan the barbarian
  • Ghostface (Scream franchise)
  • Cyrax
  • Sector
  • Noob Saibot

This list lines up with some previous leaks and rumors. For example, rumors have previously found references to Ghostface in MK1. And Mortal Kombat creator Ed Boon has mentioned Ghostface on Twitter on multiple occasions.

Likewise, the T-1000 was apparently leaked ahead of schedule by a voice actor on a podcast in October 2023. So this all seems pretty plausible. However, as always it is best to take this with a grain of salt until we have official confirmation.
