Cabello: Opponents fight over Citgo auction

Miguel Enrique Otero and Leopoldo López are behind the profits with the illegal auction

The first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, revealed this Wednesday during his program Con el Mazo Dando that the opponents Miguel Enrique Otero, editor of the newspaper El Nacional, and Leopoldo López, of Voluntad Popular, would be “fighting with a knife” for obtaining profits from the illegal Citgo auction in the United States.

In the case of Otero, he would be demanding a hefty compensation of one hundred million dollars from the country's main refinery abroad.

“Miguel Enrique Otero has started a campaign against Citgo with Iván Freites and Jorge Alejandro Rodríguez Moreno, who has a very close link with Rafael Ramírez, to force negotiation,” Cabello noted.

In the case of López, he assured that he does not want Otero's plans to move forward because he would have to "share the cut" of the business he has built on this sale.
