President Maduro visits the CVG Cabelum company in Ciudad Bolívar

CVG Cabelum produces more than 20.000 tons of transformed aluminum per year, which represents approximately 1.300 tons per month

In the context of a work day dedicated to national production, this Friday, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, visits the socialist company Conductores de Aluminio del Caroní (Cabelum), attached to the Venezuelan Corporation of Guayana (CVG), located in the new Industrial Zone “La Brisas de Ciudad Bolívar”, in Ciudad Bolívar.

The visit of the National President is conducive to verifying the production of this company dedicated to the manufacture and marketing of wire rod, aluminum electrical conductors, alloys and related products in a sustainable manner in order to satisfy national communities and companies, in addition to the international market, he noted. Presidential Press.

Currently, CVG Cabelum produces more than 20.000 tons of transformed aluminum per year, which represents approximately 1.300 tons per month.

It is important to highlight that the raw material that this company receives comes from the Venezuelan Aluminum Industry (CVG Venalum). Once the aluminum is obtained, a transformation process is carried out (wire rod and electrical conductors), which is used in the refineries of Petróleos de Venezuela, SA (Pdvsa), among other companies.

Within the CVG Cabelum there is a Productive Council of Workers (CPTT), made up of more than 400 workers who promote the national production of aluminum, while supporting the development of the new economic model based on production.

The company supplies international markets, among which Colombia, Chile, Mexico, Brazil and Türkiye stand out.

Accompanying the Head of State are the first combatant and deputy to the National Assembly (AN), Cilia Flores de Maduro; the governor of the state of Bolívar, Ángel Marcano; the president of the CVG Intervening Board; Hector Silva; the president of Cabelum, Néstor Díaz; among other authorities and guests.
