Recently, President Nicolás Maduro visited the PetroBoscán production field located in Laguinillas, Zulia state, where he invited businessmen from the United States (USA) to invest in the oil fields of Venezuela.

The head of state sent a message to American investors, whom he assured that he is “a man of his word and trustworthy.” He welcomes his investment in Venezuela so that we can work for another relationship.”

That day, Maduro commented that the recovery of the Venezuelan oil industry “immediately impacts housing construction, public health and education, and the income of pensioners and workers (…).”

In addition, he reported that he has already signed ten contracts to diversify oil investment in Venezuela. “The day will come very soon, in these coming years of prosperity, that we will once again produce here in Zulia and in all these basins at least one million barrels a day,” he added.
