PDVSA denounces creation of false accounts on social network

In a statement, the state oil company points out that false accounts were detected on Telegram in the name of Minister Tellechea, which is why it urges the population to avoid echoing false information.

Petróleos de Venezuela, SA (Pdvsa), issued an official statement this Wednesday to denounce the creation of false accounts on the social network Telegram, in the name of the Minister of Popular Power of Petroleum and president of the state company Pdvsa, Pedro Rafael Tellechea.

PDVSA urged the Venezuelan population to avoid spreading false information, which aims to generate confusion and tarnish the management of the leader of the national oil industry, who is presented in these accounts as if he were offering scams through virtual messaging.

Likewise, the publication of the national oil company recalled that the only official accounts of Minister Tellechea on the social networks Instagram, Threads, X and Tiktok are all identified under the user name @tellechearuiz.
