The President of the Republic Nicolás Maduro thanked the Venezuelan business community for the “supreme effort they have made in these years, to produce in the worst circumstances.”

The head of state led a meeting of the National Council of Productive Economy this Wednesday from the state of Lara, where he recalled that the sanctions imposed by the United States and some European countries were not against him, but against the economic apparatus of Venezuela.

“They did not go against me, I enjoy good health and strength; mental health, spiritual health, physical health and I think fortunately political health. The sanctions were against the economic apparatus of Venezuela, they were against the right to development,” she pointed out.

Likewise, Maduro highlighted that the Executive train learned “in the face of each sanction, to find a solution. "Up to 100 sanctions, 100 solutions."

“We learned to do a lot with nothing, and then we learned to do a lot with little; “Now we know how to do a lot with what we have,” she stressed.

“Venezuela has entered the path of improvement, of growth of the real economy, and everything that is seen on the horizon is good, positive growth. “I don't come to speak on the air, I come to speak for the results in hand,” she stated.

In that sense, he praised the creation of the National Economic Council because it allowed us to “see each other's faces, talk, coordinate. The consensus is to keep the economy free.”

Growth of the real economy

At the meeting, Maduro explained that Venezuela's growth in recent years corresponds to the real economy.

“When we are talking about real economic growth, we are talking about growth in the production of goods and services, as a good economist would say. The growth of goods and services, the growth of economic benefits, is not a speculative financial growth of papers as happens in other places,” he specified.

Break down bureaucratic model

On the other hand, President Maduro asked the country and the businessmen for help to “tear down the old bureaucratic State and build a new modern, highly technological State,” which is at the service of the people and not at the service of “dark mafia interests.” that are created.”

“You understand me more than anyone, not the dark mafia interests that are created in a region, in an institution, in a port, in a customs office. We have to change all that, and it is a primary task,” he added.

In this sense, he urged the Executive Vice President, Delcy Rodríguez, to establish in her agenda "the complete transformation of the Venezuelan State to put it at the service of economic development and the well-being of the people."

They ask to comply with the Tax Harmonization Law

The Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, called, this Wednesday, on the municipalities to comply with the Tax Harmonization Law.

"First it was difficult to create this Law. You remember that there was a ruling from the Supreme Court, and today we are doing work so that each mayor's office, each municipality respects the harmonization law," Rodríguez said at the Productive Economy Council, held in Barquisimeto. , Lara state.

In this sense, President Nicolás Maduro stated: “The State and the Law must be respected and the State must be respected.”

For his part, Rodríguez reiterated that Maduro has the reins of the economy in his hands "we must move from a dependent and rent-seeking economy to a diversified one with sectors that have the capacity for growth."

He said that the productive sectors made proposals regarding credit, tourism and financing that will contribute to the consolidation of the economy.
