Agricultural census in Miranda has registered 6.344 producers

This census seeks to characterize and identify the state's agricultural producers, and serve them based on their needs.

The census carried out in the state of Miranda for the agricultural sector has registered 6.344 producers in 81 days between April 4 and May 17 in 20 municipalities, according to a press release from the government.

Among those, 1.600 farm workers have updated their status and 4.744 have registered for the first time, reported the Secretary of Food of the Government of Miranda, Miguel Marín.

An average of approximately 78 people have been served each day.

This census seeks to characterize and identify the state's agricultural producers, in order to generate updated statistics that allow them to be served based on their needs.

Producers who do not have any type of instrument from the National Land Institute (INT) can go to the census to process this document.

This process is planned to be carried out over four months to cover the entire entity and try to identify some 10.000 producers during an additional 234 days.
