Yohana Sánchez inducted into the Lara Hall of Fame

The athlete is remembered for the multiple international titles she achieved in her career.

Former international karate athlete and multiple champion, Yohana Sánchez, was chosen to be inducted into the Larense Sports Hall of Fame for its class of 2024. 

The Venezuelan was nominated by the Lara State Karate Association and after analyzing the sporting contribution she gave to the entity and the country, she was chosen as one of the new members.. 

Through a video shared through her account on the social network Instagram, she thanked those in charge of electing her for the Hall of Fame with the aim of remembering everything she achieved for Venezuela. 

“I am filled with a lot of pride and I am filled with a lot of love to know that my beloved state Lara has inducted me into the Hall of Fame. I feel super happy because there have been many years of giving everything for everything as an athlete and of sacrifice,” she expressed. 

“Receiving this is phenomenal because despite not living in Venezuela I still feel that love for my state Lara,” he added. 

Among her achievements are five Pan American Champion titles, seven-time Premier League champion, runner-up at the Akita World Games, Japan, and world champion in Serbia and Montenegro.
