Wilfredo Romero is available to return to the LVBP

The manager has visa problems and will not be able to direct in Puerto Rico

The renowned Venezuelan manager and coach, Wilfredo Romero, has complete freedom to return to the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP) with any of the teams that wish to sign him.

The news comes after confirming that he will not be able to serve as manager of the Santurce Cangrejeros of Puerto Rico for the 2024-25 harvest due to immigration problems..

The information was made known by fellow baseball member and sports commentator, Rusell Vásquez, who detailed through his account on the social network X (former Twitter) that the strategist is once again available on the market.

“Wilfredo Romeo, who was ratified last year as Manager of Santurce in Puerto Rico, will not be able to fulfill his commitments due to delays with the Work visa documentation, for now he continues his work as a manager in the minor leagues with @Angels and available in the Caribbean,” he expressed.

Wilfredo Romero is working in the minor leagues of the Los Angeles Angels. However, his visa expires in October and this would be the main complication since Puerto Rico is linked to the United States.

Cangrejeros de Santurce had extended the contract with Romero for one more season thanks to the good performance he showed last season by leaving a mark of 25 wins and 15 losses.
