The Brazilian team opened the scoring through Gustavo Gomes at 13' minutes from the opening whistle, but Ricardo Valiño's men did not give up and in the 25th minute they reached equality with a goal from Santos Torrealba, after a play from a throw-in. band, which culminated with both teams fighting for the ball in the last three quarters of the Paranaense field.

Upon returning from the break, Venezuela continued to approach the rival area and in the 61st minute, Torrealba himself and Grenyorji Ramos combined on a wall for the latter to define and make it 2-1 for the Venezuelan delegation.

Paranaense equalized through Murilo in the third minute of the aggregate, forcing the match to go to a penalty shootout, where the Paraná state squad got the better of it by converting four of its five executions, while stopping two charges from Venezuela.

In this way, Athletico Paranaense will play the final of the youth competition against Talleres de Córdoba.
