The Venezuelan pitcher assured that he turns the page of each start quickly and focuses on his next start

Ranger Suárez is in the best season of his career with the Philadelphia Phillies, the Venezuelan pitcher achieved nine victories this Tuesday in the MLB 2024 and until now he does not know defeat.

A brand that classifies him as the first pitcher to start a season with these numbers since Juan Marichal in the 1966 campaign, according to data from MLB.Com. His average after this plethora of outings in which he left 10 strikeouts is 1.36.

After the game against the Texas Rangers, the left-hander gave his impressions to the press at Citizens Bank Park, Suárez assured about his numbers.

“I just go on the mound and try to do the best job possible,” Suarez stated. “I try to keep the game within reach of my teammates so that the team has a chance to win. That’s the most important thing,” he said.
