Pablo López executed his plan perfectly

The pitcher from Cabimas assured that one of the keys was to maintain the good rhythm against the Astros

Pablo López was reunited this Friday with victory after two difficult outings, the Venezuelan handcuffed the Houston Astros and emerged victorious from the match at Minute Maid Park.
The native of Cabimas had his best outing of the campaign, working for 6.1 innings in which he allowed six hits and one run, in addition to striking out six against Houston.

After the match, López gave his impressions and talked about the strategy that was used against one of the strongest teams in the MLB. 

“I am very happy with today's game, we had a good idea and a good plan of the shots we wanted to execute,” he expressed. 

In turn, the Zulian indicated: “I had good rhythm on the mound, the mix and the location of the pitches. The receiver also did a good job and gave me confidence.”

Regarding how he dealt with the defeats of his past starts, López stated that it was difficult to see the box score because as a pitcher it is something that is not desired. 

“But this is just a testament to staying true to the process, not wanting to change too much and simplifying things,” he concluded. 

According to MLB.Com, the Venezuelan's record now stands at 5-5 with an ERA of 4.84 so far this campaign.
