Monagas SC releases two players

The Paraguayan Marcos Acosta and Santiago Herrera are the players who say goodbye to the eastern team

Monagas SC confirmed two casualties in its squad through a statement issued this Monday through its social networks.

These are the Paraguayan defender Marcos Acosta and the attacker Santiago Herrera who were part of the team in the Apertura Tournament with the eastern team.

In the statement the team indicates: "The Barça family appreciates the commitment to our Institution and wishes them the greatest success in their next challenges."

Acosta played eight games and scored a goal in the regular phase of the Apertura tournament. For his part, Herrera joined the Blaugranas in the 2023 season, in the 2024 Apertura he played a total of three games.

Monagas was in tenth place in the Apertura Tournament, now they must think about their next match in the Venezuela Cup, in which they are part of group I along with Atlético La Cruz and Dynamo Puerto.
