Metro is the first finalist of the Apertura

The purple team ended the undefeated UCV in a decisive match

Metropolitanos finished this Saturday with UCV undefeated and is the first finalist of the Apertura tournament of the FUTVE 2024 League. Those led by José María Morr beat the tricolor team 5-2 at the Olympic Stadium.

The goals of this match were the work of a double by Walter Araujo, Charlis Ortíz, Angelo Lucena and Adrian Martínez (against) for the purple. While for UCV Aquiles Ocanto and Jesús Vargas scored.

Metropolitanos was largely dominant in this duel, since it knew that only by winning would it ensure its place in the Apertura final. And the forcefulness was noticeable from the beginning when they finished 2-0 up in the first half.
