Jhornan Zamora highlights the pride of Trotamundos

The player assured that the team must continue working to maintain the highest possible level

Trotamundos de Carabobo managed to get a valuable 97-94 victory against Broncos de Caracas despite having a fairly poor performance in the game, something that caused them to set off alarms in the locker room.

In statements offered for Líder In Sports, the player Jhornan Zamora admitted that the team managed to come back thanks to the pride they have, although he did recognize the bad match they had.

“I think in pride, when you're losing like this it's hard to give up and say they're better than us. In the first half we were without confidence, without finding our rhythm,” she expressed.

“In the second half we said that we had to try to play freely like we usually do and this did not allow us to win the game,” he added.

Zamora recognized that the Broncos are a great team and they have shown this in recent seasons by always being present in the fight to advance to the round.

“In recent years, the Broncos have shown what a team they are. It is with great regret that they no longer have Garly, who was a great player, but they are a great organization that will do everything to win the tournament and they show it in games like this,” he said.

Finally, Jhornan highlighted that it is important that Trotamundos must continue working internally to have the best possible performance in the postseason.

“I think there is not a complete core yet, I arrived late and Miguel was unfortunately injured; “We have foreigners who do not know the league and we must work to improve all this,” he concluded.

Zamora was in charge of leading the Carabobeña offense by adding 23 points, three rebounds, five assists and two steals.
