The Venezuelan cyclist in the BMX Freestyle category, Daniel Dhers, finished in tenth position in the first stop of the Qualification Series for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games that took place in Shanghai, China.

The information was released by the account on the social network X (former Twitter) of the Olympic Games, where they highlighted the work carried out by the Venezuelan on the Asian continent.

During the competition, the man from Caracas demonstrated all his skills to be able to score as many points as possible and thus be able to fight to finish on the podium. However, he failed to achieve his goal.

The winner of this competition was the Frenchman Anthony Jeanjean, who won the gold medal and is aiming for the Olympic Games in his country. The silver went to the Australian Logan Martin and the bronze to the Englishman Kieran Reilly.

Now the silver medalist at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games will define his classification in the tournament to be held in Budapest from June 19 to 23.
