Venezuela and Argentina celebrate identity

Weekend programming includes singer-songwriter and folklorist Teresa Parodi

On Saturday and Sunday, the Casona Cultural Aquiles Nazoa offers an extensive program that begins tomorrow with May Revolution Day, a date that commemorates the first step in the emergence of the Argentine state in 1810.

Under the auspices of the Association of Argentine Producers of Venezuela, the program includes official activities from 5:00 in the afternoon, which continues with a tribute song to the Argentine Homeland Day by the singer-songwriter and folklorist Teresa Parodi, at 8:00 pm, and the closing with dancing and singing of Tango Caracas.

On Sunday, from 11:00 am, the agenda resumes with the children's show Tachuela y su Show, performed by actor Jorge Moreno. At 2:00 pm the Merida singer-songwriter Ash Andrea presents her musical proposal, and at 4:30 pm the final touch is provided by the group Los Hijos de Ña 'Carmen with their traditional and Caribbean repertoire.
