Venezuela at the Algeria Music Festival

The Simón Bolívar Chamber Orchestra performs for the first time at the Algerian Symphonic Music Festival.

Under the baton of associate director Joshua Dos Santos, it will be presented today at the Mahieddine Bachtarzi National Theater of Algeria in Algiers.

This Saturday it will also be presented in the masterful building of the Alger Opera; while on May 19, as a closing, he will leave for the city of Tizi Ouzou, where he will carry out his official program.

This Friday the musicians will perform Symphony No. 7 in A Major, Op. 92 by Ludwig van Beethoven; Tomorrow they will perform Symphony No. 5 by Ludwig van Beethoven, Conga del fuego new by Mexican Arturo Márquez; the Onda Nueva and Fugue Suite with Pajarillo by the maestro Aldemaro Romero and Tico Tico by the Brazilian Zequiha de Abreu.

On Sunday they will close with repertoires from the ancient period, baroque, classicism, romantic, post-romantic, contemporary and Venezuelan music.
