Venezuela was present during the Latin American and Caribbean Week 2024 (SALC2024), organized by the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs of France and the Embassies of Latin America and the Caribbean, the facilities of the prestigious culinary academy “Le Cordon Bleu” from Paris-France served as the venue for a culinary demonstration of the typical Venezuelan recipe: Asado Negro.

In the activity where the aforementioned dish featured, chef Juan Martínez discussed with the students about the ingredients used, the details of the preparation and the feasibility of it in France, detailed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MPPRE) in a press release.

In turn, Arturo Gil Pinto, designated ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in France, pointed out that initiatives like this are key to bringing cultures together; Thus, students of French cuisine will learn, first-hand, the cultural wealth of Venezuela, which is expressed in its culinary diversity.
