National Theater Company celebrated four decades of history

Directed by Carlos Arroyo, today it is made up of more than 60 actors

With the staging of the production Profundo, by the remembered writer and playwright José Ignacio Cabrujas, the National Theater Company (CNT) yesterday celebrated its 40 years of experience in the spaces of the Alberto de Paz y Mateos theater.

In the presence of the Minister of Popular Power for Culture, Ernesto Villegas, and the Vice Minister Mary Pemjean, the play brought together on stage a cast of great acting figures such as the honoree Aura Rivas, Aníbal Grunn, Francis Rueda, María Brito, Luis Domingo González, Yhannelys Medina and Gerardo Ávila, all under the direction of Francisco Denis.

Carlos Arroyo, director of the company, highlighted the importance of an institution that has made great contributions to the national theater and is in a good moment.

Today it is made up of more than 60 in-person actors, in addition to the technical and administrative staff, who received recognition yesterday.
