César González, the remembered “friend of all” left

He was one of the most popular commercial announcers on the Venezuelan small screen.

One of the most emblematic entertainers of Venezuelan television, César González said goodbye at the age of 93. He was accompanied by his family in Texas.

Remembered more than by his name by the nickname that accompanied him throughout his life, “Everyone's Friend,” González became one of the most popular commercial announcers on the small screen.

“Win with Venevisión” and “The Money Caravan“, among others, were some of the programs that allowed him to make his way in the middle, before his consolidation came to him in “Sábado Sensacional”.

First with Amador Bendayán, and then with Gilberto Correa, González was the face of popular segments such as the Sensational Invasion, which is still on screen.
Likewise, he became the image of important commercial brands, as well as lotteries that had him as their entertainer in the 90s.

In 2000, César González retired from the artistic world and moved with his family to Dallas (United States). He had two children and had four great-grandchildren.
