Esteriore Brothers sang before a frantic audience

The four Sicilians debuted in a packed Ríos Reyna room at the Teresa Carreño Theater

The four Sicilians from Esteriore Brothers left a good taste in their wake in what was their debut in Caracas.

Before a packed Ríos Reyna room at the Teresa Carreño Theater, Piero, Mimmo, Amedeo and Gabrielle combined “Italoñol” with their native language to connect with the audience that helped them in the choruses of all the Italian classics they performed.

Songs like “Su di noi”, “Torneró”, “Un'estate Italiano”, “Volare”, “O Sole mio”, “Italiano”, “Gloria”, “Sará perché ti amo” and the live premiere, and in Spanish, from its current promotional “In love” formed a repertoire that they sang accompanied by musicians from the Venezuela Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of maestro Joshua Dos Santos.

A several-minute ovation rewarded both locals and visitors for bringing the evening to a close.

Rafa Pino opened for Venezuela and gave way to the trio made up of Deborah Emperatriz, Beto Baralt and Cristo Vassilaco, who performed Latin American classics for more than an hour. Everyone received a standing ovation.
