Draco Rosa celebrates his 40 years of career by releasing an album

There are eight songs in which he covers hits by Soda Stereo, CafeTacvba and Caifanes, among others.

Draco Rosa releases his new album “Reflejos de lo Eterno” this Thursday, May 30. It is a compilation of eight songs recorded live by prominent Spanish rock bands. The plaque comes to celebrate 40 years of experience full of great successes and awards.

“This work serves as a moving reminder of the enigmatic adventures that await us all on a long journey. “It embodies the divine presence that brings eternal peace in the midst of this current chaos,” Rosa said in a press release.

This chaos that Rosa refers to could be linked to the fact that he indicated that he has been “submerged in deep reflection about my personal search for tranquility and wisdom. Necessary to navigate through the turbulent rebirth of life,” EFE reported.

The album, the artist's representatives said in the statement, “embodies a profound celebration of life and eternity.” It also seeks to “be a testament to Draco's authenticity and artistry, highlighting his continued search for truth and wisdom in turbulent times.”

A jewel

The eight songs that are part of it, recorded live to capture the genuine connection between the musicians, were popularized by great exponents of rock. They include Soda Stereo, CafeTacvba, Manu Chao, Maldita Vecindad, Jarabe de Palo, Los Fabulosos Cadillac, Los Rodríguez and Caifanes.

To record the songs, the singer-songwriter of Puerto Rican origin only used drums, bass and keyboards.

The eight songs are “Sindocumentos” (Los Rodríguez), “La negra Tomasa” (Caifanes), “En remolinos” (Soda Stereo), “Eres” (Cafe Tacvba), “Me gustas tú” (Manu Chao), “ Kumbala” (Damn Neighborhood), “Our Father” (Los Fabulosos Cadillac) and “La Flaca” (Jarabe de Palo).

Draco Rosa, in his successful career since a young age when he participated with the youth group Menudo, has traveled the world performing and continues to reach a fan base for compositions such as “María”, “La Copa de la Vida” and “Livin' la Vida Loca”, all performed by Ricky Martin.
