Tina Batson is Miss Grand Venezuela 2025

The young woman won the title early this Saturday, June 29

Emotions were felt to the surface during the final night of Miss Grand Venezuela 2025, this Friday, June 28. From the Venezuela Hall of the Military Circle, in Caracas, 18 young people measured talents in a contest that awarded the highest title to Tina Batson, representing the state of Miranda. The young woman demonstrated that, among other talents, she spoke English and could express herself in sign language.

At around 8:45 pm an evening began that lasted until this Saturday, June 29 at 1:15 pm, when the name of the brand new winner was finally revealed. The event featured several unforgettable moments such as the coronation (designation) of Anna Blanco as current queen. She will be the one who represents the country in the international competition this year.

Around her announcement there was an intrigue campaign that continued for weeks on social networks, with names and hopes anchored to Mariam Habach, Megan Becci or Diana Silva.

According to what was learned from a source close to the organization, Blanco's appointment took into account aspects such as his command of English, his excellent singing voice and his extensive training. The young woman has just won in April the third edition of El Concurso By Osmel, a popular reality show in which beauty czar Osmel Sousa takes the reins.

The journey to the crown

The day had space to recognize the work of several girls with trophies distributed in special awards. To encourage the public, the show - which could be followed live on YouTube - featured a colorful and lively opening, swimsuit parades, gala attire, a peace speech and a round of questions.

The top finalists also participated in a show titled “The Diamonds of Wittels” alongside the young artist Johanser. The moment served to see them perform a little more on the catwalk while exuding charm wearing impressive gala dresses.

The conduct of the gala was another pleasant surprise. Emmy Carrero, Vanessa Coello, Marian Pérez and Yanuaria Verde participated as masters of ceremony, who excelled in their work. Majestic, they provided dynamism and camaraderie, avoiding tedium.

The list of finalists, which framed the winner, was made up of Andrea Del Val Miss Nueva Esparta (first runner-up), Camila Soto Miss La Guaira (second runner-up), Shania Sleiman Miss Federal Dependencies (third runner-up), Miss Yaracuy Paola Marín ( fourth) and Helen Chacón Miss Táchira (fifth).

This was the second edition of Miss Grand Venezuela. On many occasions the national flag bearer had been hand-picked by the organization chaired by George Wittels.

Emotional moments and special guests

Another aspect to highlight, no less important, was the participation of the Thai businessman Nawat Itsaragrisil, president of the international contest who arrived in the country accompanied by the spectacular Peruvian model Luciana Fuster. The latter, current Miss Grand International crowned on October 25, 2023 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Likewise, the farewell of Valentina Martínez who handed over the national title to Tina Batson was so emotional that there were those in the audience who connected with her and shed tears. A queen who had the chance to demonstrate that, above a crown, she has a lot to offer as a human being.
