Lacava announced turbine repair at TermoCarabobo

The Governor of the entity hopes that in a short time the turbine will be put into operation in the interconnected system at the national level

The governor of Carabobo, Rafael Lacava, reported that turbine No. 1 of the TermoCarabobo plant is undergoing a total renovation process with the purpose of generating more electrical energy in the entity.

Accompanied by the Minister of Electric Energy, Jorge Márquez, the regional president highlighted through his social networks that it is expected that the turbine will be put into operation in the interconnected system at the national level in a short time.

He commented that the electrical complications are due to the climate, among other factors, which “have influenced the megawatts that are available to the system.”

Lacava announced the restriction of “irresponsible consumption” of cryptocurrency farms, because they consume a large number of megawatts that cause rationing.

In that sense, he asked those who practice this activity illegally to report to the authorities.

“We are going to do our bit so that Venezuelans have more awareness in saving electricity,” he stated.

Likewise, Lacava commented that during his visit to Shanghai, President Nicolás Maduro asked him to seek financing with his allies on the electricity issue.

“I ask, please, that you give me a vote of confidence, that you give the minister a vote of confidence, we are doing everything that needs to be done to have greater peace of mind,” he noted.
