After flying over the entire territory of what was known as the La Bulla Loca mine, in the Bolivarian Angostura municipality, the Minister for Ecosocialism, Josué Lorca, specified that the environmental factors are already in place to begin the reforestation process of the entire affected area. for illegal mining.

Lorca, accompanied by the regional secretary of the Environment, Marbelis Rodríguez, and a technical team, verified the different affected areas on site in order to establish the entire route that will allow establishing the recovery of the entire ecosystem.

The head of the ecosocialism portfolio explained that the increase in the flow of the river and the natural return of its channel have achieved that after four months a recovery of the entire area can be observed so that the “conditions are already in place for begin the logistical and technical preparation to serve the entire extensive area.”

Let us remember that the “Bulla Loca” mine occupies an extensive natural reserve of territory in La Paragua and this was almost entirely devastated by illegal mining exploitation, which was controlled by Structured Groups of Organized Crime (Gedo) and which was eliminated and controlled by the FANB.
