More than 1800 students participated in the Barinas study fair

The activity took place at the Alberto Arvelo Torrealba high school and was headed by Minister Yelitze Santaella

Some 850 students of the general and technical secondary modalities, belonging to 30 educational institutions in the city of Barinas, participated in the 2024 Study Opportunities Fair.

The event took place at the Alberto Arvelo Torrealba high school, Barinas municipality, and was headed by Minister Yelitze Santaella, accompanied by the commander of Operation Battle Ciudad de Nutrias, GD Lenín Guillermo Herrera Hernández; the rector of Unellez, Professor Adán Chávez; the head of the Center for the Development of Educational Quality, Professor Maridet Montoya; among other authorities.

For this activity, 17 public and private universities of the Llanera entity also participated and announced their academic offerings and training programs, in order to promote the interest of future high school graduates, especially in areas that allow the technological development of the country and the strengthening of the production.

Minister Santaella highlighted the progress of the education plans of the national government, headed by President Nicolás Maduro, which allow free higher education for all high school graduates.

He highlighted that this year in the state of Barinas a total of 9 students will receive their degree that accredits them as high school graduates of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela 

He highlighted that young people have until June 22 to register in the National Entry System so that they continue with higher-level training.

"Today Venezuela can feel proud of this great generation, as President Nicolás Maduro has called it, where 339 high school graduates will be delivered to this country," said Santaella.
