More than 7 thousand tons of asphalt placed in Ocumare on the coast

Government of Aragua advances in the deployment of the national asphalt plan in various sections of the road

With the paving of several sections of the road, correction of edge faults, maintenance of ditches, drainage, demarcation, cleaning and road beautification work, the recovery works carried out by the Aragua state government on the Maracay-Ocumare highway in the Coast, where more than 7 thousand tons of asphalt mixture are placed.

The works framed in the National Asphalt Plan are carried out by the state company Vías de Aragua in collaboration with the Ministry of Popular Power for Transportation, to guarantee safe roads for locals and tourists.

The execution of the work being carried out on the highway was supervised this Tuesday morning by Governor Karina Carpio, who highlighted the efforts of the different government agencies to guarantee a better quality of life for citizens.

“We are working in coordination with the local and national government in the rehabilitation of the highway to Ocumare de la Costa. We appreciate the 7 thousand tons approved by our president to improve this important road for the state of Aragua,” said the president.

Asphalt crews deployed in different locations

Giving continuity to the national asphalt plan, this week 230 tons of asphalt were placed in the community of Santo Domingo, located in the José Rafael Revenga municipality, to facilitate mobility and access to services for the inhabitants of the area.

Likewise, the placement of more than a thousand tons of asphalt is carried out in the Piñonal sector of Maracay, where its streets and avenues are rehabilitated.
