Campo Soberano Fairs served more than 50 thousand Araguan families 

They distributed 150 tons of food in 9 municipalities

A total of 150 tons of protein foods were distributed through the Campo Soberano Fairs, which were deployed by the Ministry of Food in nine locations of the Aragüeña entity, to supply the population in a timely manner in compliance with the fifth vertex of the Great Mission of New Generation Equality and Social Justice “Hugo Chávez”.

The information was provided by the territorial director of Minppal, José Diego Castillo, who detailed that the food service was carried out in the municipalities of Santiago Mariño (Turmero), José Rafael Revenga (El Consejo), Girardot (Maracay), José Félix Ribas (La Victoria), Santos Michelena (Las Tejerías), Mario Briceño Iragorry (El Limón), Libertador (Palo Negro), Sucre (Cagua) and Francisco Linares Alcántara (Santa Rita).

Different entities have joined the conference, such as the National Institute of Nutrition (INN), the National Superintendency of Agri-Food Management, the Food Program Foundation (Fundaproal), the Pdval Mobile Arepera, in addition to the participation of the Local Production Committees Supply (Clap).

Likewise, during the Fairs the INN delivers food drinks and dewormers, providing special attention to children, older adults and pregnant women.

“We are together with our people, supporting this extraordinary activity of the Misiones Grandes Misiones system, with food care, tastings of community sancochos and the Pdval mobile arepera, thanks to the joint work of the different institutions, as instructed President Nicolás Maduro, through Minister M/G Carlos Leal Tellería and our Governor Karina Carpio,” commented the director of the Minppal, during the fair held this weekend in the Paraparal community of Santa Rita.
