Apureños musicians prepare presentation for Guinness Record

The System of Youth Orchestras and Choirs of the Apure state is preparing to participate in the Guinness Record attempt to be held in the city of Caracas on November 13.

More than 252 musicians from the Apure state, including girls, boys, adolescents and adults will participate in this great feat of what will be to meet the Guinness Record with more than 12 thousand musicians on stage from the Caracas polyhedron.

The representatives of the symphonic orchestra in the entity, such as the Manager of the Apure nucleus, Yorly Jaspe, stated that “there are 7 nuclei that make up the Apure state and each one has the participation of the musicians, the sacrifice that we have made has been great to be able to participate in this new experience ».

For her part, Mariela Colmenares, who is the Academic Coordinator of the Orchestra System, explained that “there are more than 10 thousand people who make up the orchestra system throughout the state, for which 252 musicians who have had to follow established parameters ».

The competent authorities, including the Director of the Biruaca Nucleus, Professor Freddy Flores emphasized "that there will be 9 pieces that will be presented with Tchaikovsky's Slavic March as a presentation."
