Milk is not essential for cats' diet

Specialists point out that although milk contains many valuable nutrients, it is not essential for the feline's diet. They indicate that you should not give cow's milk to a cat prone to stomach problems, since it is likely to have difficulties digesting it.

The cat gets most of the fluids it needs from food, and cats seem to drink little. However, it must be ensured that fresh water is always available.

If the cat is fed semi or fully dehydrated food, the ration of water will have to be increased, since the animal will hardly extract liquids from those foods. So it is advisable to minimize dry food to your kitten.
