They will deploy care plan in special education centers in Yaracuy

They will guarantee treatment for children with special conditions in the 14 municipalities of Yaracuy

The Government of Yaracuy will begin next week, a new assistance program for the 545 children and adolescents with special conditions enrolled in the 34 special education centers, distributed in the 14 municipalities of the state.

 This was announced this Thursday by the governor of the entity in his radio program "Contact with Julio León", in which he announced the details of the plan, which will begin with an evaluation and diagnosis phase in each of the centers of attention.

The state president pointed out that the objective of this important program is to verify the medical status and pathologies of each boy and girl associated with the special condition they present, to guarantee the treatments that are warranted, as the case may be.

They will address special education centers throughout Yaracuy

He explained that the program will begin on May 31 at the "Darío Acuña Lagos" Special Education Complex in the Independencia municipality, where 126 children and adolescents are cared for.

It will continue on Thursday June 1 in Peña with the attention of 273 students from three special training schools in that municipality, and on Friday June 2 in Urachiche, to evaluate 60 students.

The evaluation phase will continue on June 7 in Nirgua, where it is expected to serve 143 schoolchildren with different abilities from two institutions; on June 8 in Bolívar, to assist some 100 children, and on June 9 in Bruzual, where it is estimated that 177 children and adolescents will be assisted.

The program will continue progressively until the planning is completed and it supports the more than 500 students with special conditions.

The plan will be executed directly by the Niño Simón Foundation, in charge of the first combatant of the state, Jessica Serrano, and will continue permanently as part of its regular programming.

New specialists in Critical Medicine and Pediatric Surgery graduate

On the other hand, León reported that this week six new specialists in the areas of critical medicine and pediatric surgery graduated, who completed 3 years of postgraduate studies with the Programmed Assistance Residency program offered by the Ministry of Health.

The regional president highlighted the great effort of the students who completed their training at the "Plácido Daniel Rodríguez Rivero" Central Hospital and at the Niño Jesús Pediatric Hospital, both in San Felipe, for three years, in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic.

"This is an important process of professionalization in the medical area that is carried out in the state, and that since 2008 has allowed the training of 384 specialists in different areas that are placed at the disposal of the health of the people of Yaracuy and the entire country. ”, Leon specified.
