This Monday, the teaching, administrative and worker staff of the 727 schools, high schools and other schools that operate in the 14 municipalities of the Yaracuy state returned to their administrative and work activities, as confirmed by the director of the Regional Training Center for Quality Educational, Lenyis Martínez.
The official explained that both the teachers, professors, workers, workers and employees of the educational sector returned to their jobs after concluding the vacation period.
He commented that the start of classes for the 2023-3024 school period is scheduled for next October 2, when more than 140 thousand students from different levels of education are expected to return to the classrooms: initial, basic, general secondary and diversified.
“All personnel assigned to our different educational institutions in the state were summoned, preparing everything to receive with great vocation and enthusiasm our children and adolescents who will start classes in the coming days,” Martínez stressed.
Two weeks of training activities
Martínez indicated that during the two weeks left until the restart of academic activities, teachers will participate in a training process that will help them strengthen the work they will carry out throughout the school year.
“It is a constant training plan so that our teachers strengthen educational quality and have the necessary tools to adequately serve students in their respective educational institutions,” stated the official.
The teacher training plan includes addressing topics such as curricular management, school organization, review of the Every Family a School program and strategies to strengthen reading, writing, mathematics for life and science.
Areas such as strategies for the appropriate use of technologies, socio-emotional learning, tools for equity, inclusion and educational quality, and strategies for strengthening life and sports skills in the comprehensive development of children and adolescents will also be studied.
Preparation for the start of classes
Likewise, Lenyis Martínez added that teachers will prepare everything that corresponds to the beginning of the 2023-2024 school year, which will have a varied programming.
Among the days that will be held, in addition to the start of the classes themselves, cultural, sports and recreational activities stand out, designed especially for each educational level.
“We want our students to feel happy from the first day they start classes, for which we are going to welcome them with a warm day of affection and activities that they will surely like very much. The plan is to integrate them from the moment they enter their school campuses with an affectionate welcome,” he said.
Sanitation of school spaces
On the other hand, the representative of the Ministry of Education in Yaracuy reported that in order to beautify the educational facilities of the Yaracuyan entity, the sanitation, weeding and ambiance plan was started, to provide optimal spaces for the student population on their return to classes.
The sessions are part of the activities oriented with the Bricomiles in each school institution for the beautification and adaptation of educational institutions.
Martínez specified that in the 727 educational establishments, weeding and beautification work is carried out simultaneously, with the support of the teaching, administrative and worker staff, cooks of the country, integral mothers, organized popular power, mayors, governors and Bolivarian National Armed Force (FANB).
