Former President Evo Morales tested positive for covid-19 after performing the necessary detection tests and assuming the medical protocols that confirmed that he remains stable in health, Kawsachun Coca radio reported Tuesday, quoted by the Bolivian Information Agency.
According to the press release published on the Facebook page of that media belonging to the federations of the Tropic of Cochabamba, presided over by Morales, “according to the laboratory analyzes carried out in the last hours on former president Evo Morales, covid was detected -19 ".
Morales was admitted to the Los Olivos health institution on Monday suffering from lack of air and, once the tests were carried out to assess his condition, he was immediately isolated in a room.
“He is currently stable and is receiving treatment and medical attention that the case advises. The Bolivian people are thanked for their expressions of concern and solidarity ”, indicates the note dated today in Cochabamba.
Hours before, the ex-president thanked the people who constantly care about his health and well-being. "Thanks to God, to the Pacha and to so many expressions of solidarity from our people, I feel very well," he wrote on his Twitter account.
