Pope Francis asked not to accept homosexuals in seminaries

The Pope explained that he is concerned that they end up leading a double life, continuing to practice homosexuality while suffering from dissimulation.

Pope Francis asked the Italian bishops, in a private meeting, not to allow homosexual people to enter seminaries.

According to information from various international media, the Supreme Pontiff justified his line by ensuring that “there is too much faggot in certain seminaries.”

Likewise, according to the Spanish media ABC, the Pope explained that he is concerned that they end up leading a double life, continuing to practice homosexuality and suffering themselves from dissimulation.

Given the commotion caused by this news, the prelate apologized, this Tuesday, for having used a derogatory expression to refer to homosexual men.

The Vatican claimed in a statement that the pontiff did not mean to offend anyone and apologized to those who felt “hurt by the use of a word.”
