France gives the green light to Ukraine to attack targets in Russian territory

Macron plans to send soldiers to the Slavic country to train their Ukrainian counterparts

French President Emmanuel Macron stated that France will allow the Ukrainian Armed Forces to use the missiles it supplies to kyiv on a limited basis for attacks on Russian territory.

Likewise, the head of state assured that the next day of sending Mirage 2000-5 fighters to Ukraine will soon be announced, while revealing that it has been proposed that "Ukrainian pilots be trained this summer in France" as part of a total of “4.500 Ukrainian soldiers” who would receive training.

Although he denied that there are military instructors in Ukraine at present, he did not rule out the possible sending of them to that country, and rejected that such a strategy implies an escalation in the war between Russia and Ukraine.

He specified that this decision whether or not to send soldiers to train Ukrainian troops directly in the Slavic country will be made “collectively.” But “why should we exclude it?” he asked. Such an attitude, according to international analysts, could further inflame the war in the aforementioned region.

Finally, Macron tried to justify sending weapons to Ukraine, because, in his opinion, “Russia is on our borders,” he said.
