The former president of the Plurinational State of Bolivia, Evo Morales, called this Monday for a large international mobilization to stop the interventionist expansionism of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and the United States government.
Such request was made by the South American leader through his account on the social network Twitter where he states that humanity cries out for pacification, “the conflagration is not the solution. Arms and imperialist hegemony puts world peace at risk.
"The democratic peoples and governments of the world should encourage a campaign to denounce that #NATO is the main enemy of humanity, which threatens life, peace and the economy for its expansionist, interventionist and warmongering policy."
For Morales, "peace is the only path to understanding between brother peoples, but as long as the expansionist interventionism of the US and NATO persists, humanity will continue to face the danger of a greater conflagration."
