Microsoft begins testing Xbox Game Pass Ultimate family plan

The tests of this plan are enabled for users from Colombia and Ireland

Microsoft announced this Thursday the start of a subscription for family and friends to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, whose tests will begin in Ireland and Colombia.

Microsoft's idea is to expand Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, and for this, members of the Xbox Insider Program will be able to obtain a new subscription that will allow them to share their membership with up to four people who do not necessarily have to be Insiders like them, but must comply with the requirement to reside in the same country.

It is not known if the plan will be extended to other countries, how long the trial period will be in Colombia and Ireland, or the estimated price, he reviewed. Xataka.

Insiders who want to try this new feature will be able to convert their existing Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription to this new shared model. Your active subscription time will be reduced appropriately.

In this sense, a month of Game Pass would translate into 18 days of subscription with this plan.
