Vinotinto technical assistant hospitalized for covid-19

Portuguese coach Nuno Presume, who is José Peseiro's assistant in the Venezuelan national team, entered the intensive care unit of the Abrantes hospital on Tuesday with covid-19, reported the Lusa media.

According to a source cited by them, Presume is one of the two intensive care patients in the Abrantes unit of the Tejo Hospitalar Center, where he is intubated and in an induced coma.

The 51-year-old Portuguese is part of the technical team of the Venezuelan national team, led by Peseiro, of whom he was an assistant at Sporting, in 2018/19, and at Vitória de Guimarães, the previous season.

The coach, born in Pombalinho, began his career in Cartaxo, having also worked in clubs such as Carregado, União de Santarém, Fátima, Riachense, Loures, Portomosense and 1º de Dezembro, before joining the technical teams for Daúto Faquirá, in Olhanense and in the Angolans of August 1st.
