The Venezuelan signed a three-season contract to play in Liga MX

Venezuelan footballer Jhonder Cádiz leaves Portugal's Primeira Liga to play in Liga MX after signing a three-season contract with Club León. 

The announcement was made by the Aztec team through its social networks with a video that highlights all the commitment and dedication on the field of play of this figure who shone in the 2024 Copa América with Venezuela. 

The 28-year-old forward arrives with the objective of replacing Federico Viñas after an injury that will not allow him to play in the Apertura 2024 tournament, so he will fight for ownership with Alfredo Alvarado and Ettson Ayón. 

Jhonder Cádiz finishes his internship with the Portuguese Famalicão in which he shone as one of their líderIt is offensive and allowed him to be chosen by 'Bocha' Batista for the Copa América. 

During the last season he played a total of 32 games, 28 as a starter, in which he managed to score a total of 16 goals, receiving nine yellow cards and one red card. 

Cádiz will be Club León's seventh reinforcement for this season, joining Jesús Hernández, Ettson Ayón, Óscar Jiménez, Salvador Reyes, Luciano Cabral and Tadeo Estrada.

The Mexican team will also compete in the 2025 Club World Cup, so it will have the opportunity to compete against the best teams on the planet.
