Eliéser Hernández led the Marlins' second shutout

Venezuelan Elieser Hernández followed the example of his compatriot Pablo López and painted the Orioles white for 4.2 innings to lead his Marlins 1-0 victory, in the first of the doubleheader scheduled for this Wednesday.

The young pitcher only allowed two hits, walked one and struck out five to leave his ERA spotless.

Brian Anderson hit a home run in the fourth inning against Alex Cobb and sentenced the fish, who remain undefeated after being disabled for an entire week due to the Covid-19 outbreak that affected 18 of their players.

The victory went to right-hander Nick Vincent, after a near-perfect 1.1-inning relay, in which Baltimore barely snatched a walk.

Brandon Kintzler, meanwhile, withdrew the ninth to earn his second save of the season, and Alex Cobb charged the reverse.
