Cocodrilos de Caracas widely beat Héroes de Falcón with a score of (85-56) on Day 2 of Group A of the Basketball Super League in Miranda.
This was the first Sauria victory in this new Venezuelan professional basketball competition.
The most outstanding player of the match was the pilot Gregory Vargas who stayed one assist from completing a double-double, after registering 15 points and 9 assists, escorted by Ernesto Hernández who completed a dozen points. Elder Giménez showed off from the bench with 11 points and 3 sacks, along with Leinfer Monte De Oca, who finished with 11 scored and 4 assists.
The match started a bit weak for the capital team, the rival made their first 3 shots and got seven to zero on the scoreboard, but led by Gregory, the team adjusted details on offense and tightened on defense to force losses and these led to points in transition. Cocodrilos had a streak of 15 consecutive points to take advantage of the match, which they would not lose again.
