Cocodrilos de Caracas pressed on defense in the second half to suffocate Centauros de Portuguesa and finally beat them 81-53, maintaining their undefeated Super Round.
The first minutes were low scoring, Gregory Vargas barely gave Cocodrilos an advantage by one point, before Heberth Bayona responded with a basket in the paint that gave the difference to Centauros 7 to 6 before the first special time, subtracting 4: 55.
With the scoreboard tied at 11, Cocodrilos took off with five straight points from Leinfer Montes de Oca and another double basket from Gregory Vargas, before the end of the period, Yoeser Valera discounted with a double basket to leave the first set favorable to Caracas 18 to 13 .
Crocodiles take off
With six points from Luis Bethelmy to start the second quarter, Cocodrilos was able to take off by twelve (27 to 15) in just the first two minutes played. Bethelmy himself, with another double basket, made sure that the difference was the same 29 to 17, with six minutes remaining.
Bethelmy continued on until the end of the quarter, a foul and okay, plus free throw, left the difference 44 to 32 with 40 seconds remaining. Crocodiles increases the advantage

The Cocodrilos defense simply smothered Centauros in the second half, limiting them just 17 points, again dominating the set 23-8 to end the game 81-53.
The best for Cocodrilos were Gregory Vargas with 18 points (6 rebounds and 4 assists), Leinfer Montes de Oca with 16 coming off the bench. Luis Bethelmy with 11 points (7 rebounds and 3 assists) and Elder Giménez with 10 points.
