Samson is the favorite in the Battle of Carabobo

The horse Sansón, second to Gran Trueno in his previous performance, will jump as one of the prized riders of the Clásico Batalla de Carabobo, the most important event this Saturday at the Valencia National Racecourse.

The son of Gold Dollar in Las Camelias, with a record of six victories in 15 presentations, will take advantage of the absence of Gran Trueno, a horse that was not registered due to some health problems, to seek victory in the final stretch with the mount of Osis Martínez and preparation of Alejandro Ortiz.

Tuki Pile for revenge

Tuki Montón, listed as one of the main contenders under the leadership of Albenis Cubillán and preparation by Carlos Alberto Escobar, will seek revenge against Ayacucho, a horse that defeated him last year's edition at the La Rinconada oval.

The son of Treasuere Cay in La Guacovia, from the Vista Hermosa stud farm, crossed the Finish Line in first place last year, but due to the setbacks caused in the final stretch, he was distanced to second place and Ayacucho was declared the winner.

For this occasion, he will try to take advantage of the sprinters' fight to find a position that allows him to advance without problems in the decisive sections and surprise the main listed ones in the race that will take place as the seventh in the afternoon, fourth valid for the game of 5 and 6.

Ayacucho, presented by Yondel Calderón and hosted by Ender Graciel, will be another of the fans' favourites, taking into account its previous performances and campaign presented.

It will also be necessary to keep in mind the successful Pinturero, a man presented by Carlos Alberto Escobar, who can seek a favorable advantage from the initial meters and become the surprise of the race.

It will be an interesting competition in which ten outstanding steeds won the registration and will fight for the first place from the start, in the important competition.
