Salvy again! For the fifth game in a row Pérez took her out of the stadium

Salvador Pérez continues to show his power in the month of August and this Sunday he fired his fifth homer in consecutive games to join the longest streak for a Venezuelan.

Perez, who started the streak on and then hit a pair of Grand Slams on Thursday and Friday, appeared this time with a solo home run to even the score at one run.

The mask took it out of left field in the sixth inning, after attacking a sinker that stayed in the power zone.

The Venezuelan hit 38 homers and sets a record for AL receivers in one season, leaving Carlton Fisk behind.

'Salvy', who is three behind the absolute leader of the Major Leagues Shoei Ohtani, is the ninth Venezuelan to achieve the longest streak of games out of the park (5 commitments).

Pérez finished the day 4-2 with two RBIs and left his batting average at .277 and 94 RBIs for the season.
