Gonzalez, who has spent the last few days recovering from a strained right hamstring, is hitting just above .200 (.202).

Despite his versatility to play various positions on the field, his offensive numbers seem to have taken the bill for him.
In 77 games this season, the Venezuelan has hit 2 homers, 20 RBIs and 25 runs scored.
It should be noted that in his last 7 games he only shot 4 hits and posted an average of .174.
